Mokolodi Bush Kitchen is a restaurant inside the Mokolodi Nature Reserve, just outside Gaborone. Its setting blends “bush-lodge/reserve” vibes: natural materials (wood, thatch, stone), open-air or semi-open-air terraces, and views over waterholes or savannah — where guests sometimes spot wildlife (impalas, zebras, deer) while dining. It aims to combine the feeling of a safari-style outing with good food — a dining experience that’s more than just a meal: it’s about ambience + nature + cuisine.

EXCITE YOUR TASTEBUDS

The menu includes a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes: such as steaks, burgers, ribs, fish-and-chips, pizzas, and other familiar comfort items. For drinks: there’s a full-service bar, with beers, wines, sometimes cocktails or homemade drinks.

Buddy Tips😉:

Because it’s outdoors or semi-open, weather conditions (heat, wind, possibly rain) could affect comfort — especially in off-season or evenings. It helps to check weather or call ahead.

It may be a bit of a drive from central Gaborone, depending on where you are in town — so plan transport accordingly.
